A security team for companies that cannot hire one yet

Wardell started in 2023 when two people who had run night shifts at larger security firms noticed that small companies were getting breached at 3 am with nobody watching.

Why we built Wardell

Why we built Wardell

Most companies between 200 and 2,000 people have one or two people doing security, usually next to IT. They buy good tools, and the tools send them more alerts than two people can read. The alerts that matter arrive at night.

We built Wardell to do the reading. It groups alerts into cases, closes the known-good noise and shows its work, so a small team can trust what is left. When something needs a person outside business hours, one of our analysts takes the page.

We are 38 people, most of us former analysts and engineers from security operations teams. We publish our detections, our pricing and our changelog because we would want the same from a vendor.
